Informed Childbirth Education Course
The Informed Childbirth Education Course will assist expectant parents with building confidence in their ability to give birth. This evidence-based course gives expectant families the tools they need to make informed decisions about childbearing and the early postpartum period.
You will learn about:
- Birthing options
- Physiology and anatomy of birth
- Prenatal nutrition
- Simple and easy Comfort Measures
- Relaxation Techniques
- Breathing techniques
- Role of the support person
- Common hospital procedures
- Cesarean delivery
- Postpartum preparation

Preparing for the Postpartum Period
Preparing for the first days and weeks after the baby is born is important. This class will help you get ready for that exciting and exhausting time.We will tackle questions like:
- What will the immediate days after birth be like?
- How can I have a smooth transition into this new phase of my life?
- What can I do NOW to prepare for after baby is born?

The Ins and Outs of Diapering
Pampers. Huggies. Luv's. GDiapers. Cloth diapers, oh my! Come hear from Main Line Doulas, the Philadelphia area's premier birth and postpartum doula service, about the many choices in diapering. They will present unbiased diapering information to help with your newly arriving baby.
This is an interactive class, so make sure you bring a doll for hands on practice learning how to diaper an infant. Included in this class is 5 different disposable diapers for our very own leak test to see which diapers hold urine the best. 1.5 hrs, $49/couple

Newborn Basics- The First Six Weeks
New and expectant parents will learn how to care for the baby during the first 6 weeks of infancy. Don't miss this great class!

Comfort Measures for Childbirth
Come to this hands-on event to learn the simple and easy tips and tricks the experts use to help you have a comfortable birth. This two-hour class will be spent learning non-medical comfort measures including teaching you and your partner how to properly use positions, touch, and tools to bring you the most comfort during this exciting time.

Prenatal Breastfeeding Basics
Come ready to learn all the basics of breastfeeding to help get you and your little one off to a good start. Learn techniques to lead you to success as well as common problems and information on how to handle them. Women find it helpful to have their partner come to this class to learn along with them and help each other through this new and exciting time.2 hrs, $49/couple
